This is my basket of basil.
I have posted it on my blog previously when I sowed the seeds
and they were tiny specs emerging into being.
While I was in Christchurch recently I left it with a friend.
Sadly it got mostly eaten by earwigs.
But it has recovered now and I pick it daily for salads and stir-fries.
I love the smell and taste.
