Ive missed you all, and some messages tell me you have missed me and my posts.
I'm well and all ok.
I have been parked at Weedons in Christchurch for the last month, working hard to find a hospital
level care rest home for my 97 year old father to move into. He's become very immobile and was no long able to be looked after at Woodcote where was.
It's been a real mission but he is now settled at Ilam Lifecare and says he is happy.
It was a big move, downsizing yet again. We are still fine tuning the little care things but on the whole my job is nearly over for the time being.
I haven't even got a photo for you. This one's old and it's summer and it's definitely not summer here. My laptop packed a sad today, it's hopefully getting repaired and all my photos are on it.
But this coming Monday I am leaving Christchurch for a while - north, south, east or west - I don't know yet... I'll let you know.

ReplyDeleteGood to know you are safe and well - as you say, it's been a while. You will be pleased that your Dad is safely settled - we know from experience that these things can take a while to sort out.
