It rained all the way and thick fog through the Lewis Pass. There was a lot of traffic travelling east but very little going west so I didn't have to pull over too often to let other vehicles pass. My only stop was at the diesel truck stop at Amberley. Filled right up as think it will be a while before I find diesel at 84cents a litre again.
I've stopped for the night at Marble Hill, a DoC camp just before Springs Junction. Spectacular misty views in the fading light...
